The Canadian Labour Congress, labour and community leaders will react to the federal government’s announcement of proactive pay equity legislation at a news conference on Parliament Hill on Wednesday.

The AV Group National Secretary Andrée Doucet will be in town on November 5th and will be conducting bargaining update.

The Bargaining Team has started its membership engagement in Canada, with bargaining information sessions and presentations held in Nanaimo BC, Victoria BC, Vancouver BC and Halifax NS, which were all advertised on our Group website, and invites were sent via email to our members.

The Labour Board heard the PSTAR grievances, FPSLREB File Nos. 566.34.9832 & 9833 (Myles & Alcock), on October 2-5. During the hearing both PIPSC and the CRA presented all the evidence and we will make our final arguments in the near future.
