On Nov 6, President Debi Daviau has presented before the Senate of Canada National Finance (NFFN) Committee about Bill C-62; a bill introduced by the government, in October 2017, aimed at repealing two blatantly anti-labour pieces of legislation introduced by the former Harper government, Division 20 of Bill C-59 and Bill C-4.
“It’s time to finally turn the page on a sombre time for Canada’s labour movement as a whole, and the federal public service in particular,” said Debi Daviau in her opening presentation.
