This is a call for interest open to all current AV Group PIPSC members. The current AV Sub-group in Winnipeg is looking to fill 3 Member at Large positions on the executive team. These vacant positions need to be filled and will be valid until our next Annual General Meeting and Elections, which is scheduled in May 2018.

  • President – two (2) year term
  • Treasurer – two (2) year term
  • Member-At-Large – two (2) year term

Advanced nominations will be accepted. Nominations will also
be accepted during the Annual General Meeting, prior to
voting.

The advanced nominations must reach the Elections
Committee e-mail address by 4:00 p.m. EST Friday, November
24, 2017.

Dear NUREG members,

NUREG members voted in favour to the Tentative Agreement. The vote was open from October 4 to October 12, 2017. We would like thank you to all who voted. Your support through this long and difficult process is appreciated. The agreement still needs to be signed by both the union and CNSC before the new pay scale comes into effect this agreement will cover the April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2018.

The CRPEG Bargaining Team is pleased to announce that the Union and the Employer signed the collective agreement on September 28, 2017. This collective agreement is in effect from July 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017. Subsequently CRPEG filed notice to bargain on September 28th to commence negotiations on a new collective agreement which will come into effect on January 1, 2018.

Thank you to all who participated in the ratification vote on March 8, 2017 at the Lion's Hall in Chalk River.

Greetings, you have certainly heard about the #metoo or #moiaussi movement carried by victims of sexual misconduct, harassment and assaults. Do not put heads in the sand, this certainly does not occur only to others.

Tolerance toward these behaviours should not be an option. Whether you are a victim or a witness, talk about it.

Talk to a trusted friend or colleague.

Talk to a family member.
