Members of the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) will be on Parliament Hill today to meet with Canada’s Parliamentarians on issues of critical importance to the delivery of public services – restoring Canada’s public science capacity, reducing over-reliance on the outsourcing of government services, ensuring the integrity of the country’s tax system, and replacing the troubled Phoenix pay system.

First I would like to say that I am very pleased to see the return of the CS Group newsletter. The Group has relied upon individual postings, notices, surveys and bargaining updates in CS Bytes over the past few years. We hope to continue with timely announcements and information while providing a broader overview and knowledge pieces in regularly published newsletters.

Such nominations must include the candidate’s name (printed) and signature accepting the nomination, as well as the position for which the candidate is being nominated. Nominations must also include the name and signature of at least three (3) members of the CS Group.

The AFS Group Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Delta Winnipeg. The AFS Group By-Laws provide for seventy-one (71) delegates including the eleven (11) members of the AFS Group Executive. The remaining sixty (60) official delegates are allocated on the basis of population by region and chosen by the Regional Representatives.
