Your Bargaining Team is pleased to announce that the new collective agreement has finally been signed on November 7, 2017. The Employer now has 120 days to implement the terms of the new agreement. More details will follow shortly.

In accordance with the NR Group Constitution, By-Law 8 Elections, the Group Elections Committee is sending out a Call for Nominations for the following seven (7) positions on the NR Group Executive: 4 in the NCR, 1 in Atlantic, 1 in Quebec, and 1 in BC/Yukon.

By now you should have received official notice that our Group’s bargaining efforts have been successful. After a Bargaining Team strategy session and a further number of long days with the mediator, we came to terms with our employer.

NR members have ratified the Tentative Agreement.
The next steps, currently underway, will require the employer to calculate the new pay rates and translate the new agreement prior to signing by both parties. This can hopefully be completed by the end of August.
