Your support through this long and difficult process is appreciated. NUREG – Tentative Agreement Ratification Vote

To all NUREG members,

Your NUREG Bargaining Team is pleased to announce that on September 7, 2017 we signed a tentative agreement to complete this round of collective bargaining. The Bargaining Team would like to thank all members for their support.

We believe we have reached the very best negotiated deal possible in what has been a very challenging round of negotiations.

The NUREG Bargaining Team met with CNSC Management on April 10th and 11th, 2017. We bargained until late afternoon on Tuesday when CNSC broke off negotiations.

CNSC MANAGEMENT REFUSED TO NEGOTIATE A FAIR DEAL AT THE TABLE.

Your NUREG bargaining team is very disappointed with the CNSC Management for a number of reasons:

The NUREG Bargaining Team met with CNSC Management on February 7th to 9th, 2017. The Team made reasonable progress in dealing with non-monetary issues that we have been seeking over the last three years. The parties signed off on several issues.
