Thank you to everyone who completed our NUREG Bargaining Survey. Our members' level of participation and written comments are encouraging. We received a 44% participation rate. We hear you and your concerns. Your continued support and engagement is essential in identifying and achieving priorities for this round of bargaining. Based upon the results of the dispute resolution question in the membership survey, NUREG has selected the arbitration route as our dispute resolution process.
Here are the bargaining proposals that were exchanged between the NUREG Group and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission.
In accordance with article 9.1.1 of the NUREG Constitution and By-Laws, the NUREG Executive has selected the bargaining team from a list of 20 volunteers who responded to the call for volunteers that was made on November 15, 2021.
Your feedback is invaluable to the bargaining team as we prepare our proposals to improve the collective agreement in the best interest of all members.
Have you been wondering what your bargaining team is up to?
We are already hard at work on your next collective agreement. We kicked things off with 3 days of training and survey preparation in February.
