Dear DND Ottawa Gatineau Branch Members,
Are you nostalgic for the days when you would spend a Saturday at the roller rink? Don’t know what roller skating is? Well, here’s your chance to scratch that itch or to find out! The DND NCR Branch Executive cordially invites you to join us for a free Saturday lunch and 90 minutes of roller skating on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Details of the event are as follows:
Where: Skate & Play (formerly known as 4 Wheelies) 1101 Baxter Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C 3Z3
What: Skate & Play entrance fee, skate rental, water bottle or pop and pizza. Parking is free.
Who: Members of the PIPSC DND NCR branch and a guest (additional guests beyond 1 may be considered but will be subject to availability)
When: September 21, 2024, 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Notes 1: Any person attending must be included in the total count of attendees, irrespective of whether they intend to participate in the activities or not. This is because Skate & Play will change people at the entrance ($17.00).
Notes 2: All Children under twelve must have a helmet to be admitted into the rink. Skate & Play does not have helmets to rent or buy.
Notes 3: Skate & Play does not sell or rent protective equipment such as elbow or knee pads, wrist protectors or helmets. We strongly encourage people to bring their own to this event. The venue requires a waiver to be signed by all participants.
