You are cordially invited to attend the annual general meeting (AGM) of the Laval Branch and AFS Laval Sub-Group.
At this meeting, we will discuss several topics, such as the elections of the vacant positions in the Sub-Group Executive, the meeting’s minutes of the previous AGM and the ongoing negotiations.
Attached you will find the agenda as well as the election notices for the AFS Laval Sub-Group.

AFS LAVAL SUB-GROUP ELECTION NOTICE
To all members of the AFS Laval Sub-Group of the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada.
In accordance with the AFS Laval Sub-Group bylaws, all of the positions (11) will be up for election. Successful candidates will take office November 2nd, 2021 and hold office until April 2023 (exceptionally, the term of office will be 18 months rather than 24 months in order to return to our regular general meeting date of April).
In order to apply for any of these positions, candidates need to be a PIPSC steward at the Laval office or about to become one.
The nomination period will end on October 15th, 2021. If you are interested in occupying one of these positions, please send the attached form to the election director Isabelle Vermette.
If a vote is necessary, a ballot will be conducted at the AGM.
The mandate of the AFS Laval Sub-Group Executive members, including the above mentioned positions are defined in section 7.2 of the statutes.
