Please be advised that the Eastern Quebec CS Sub-Group Annual General Meeting will be held on June 5, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at Le Bunker Resto-Pub in Matane. Here is the Agenda.

Notice of Elections
Elections will be held for all Executive positions currently held by the following:
President: Mélanie Murray (EDSC)
Treasurer: Serge-Alain Deland (SSC)
Membership count as of December 31, 2018 was 38 spread over various Departments in Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie. It would be nice to have representatives from each Department. Nominations will be taken from floor at the AGM. If you are unable to attend the AGM but would like to run for office, please send your name and the position for which you would like to run to our Secretary Mr. Mathieu Sarrasin (mathieu.sarrasin@canada.ca). If a vote is necessary, the election will be held by secret ballot during the meeting. All members are welcome to attend.
According to our By-Laws, positions on the Executive have three-year terms. The Sub-Group generally meets twice a year. The aim of the Sub-Group shall be to act within the jurisdiction of the Sub-Group to further the professional interests of its members, to protect the status and standards of their profession and to formulate and express the views of the members on matters affecting them. The Sub-Group Executive shall inform the national CS Group Executive of the concerns of the Sub-Group relative to collective bargaining.
