The MAGE negotiation team met recently to identify potential changes to our collective agreement.
New legislation has been passed (Bill 28) that limits our ability to negotiate salary increases for the next four years. Others are working to deal with this legislation.
As part of our preparation, and to complement the survey many of our members completed, the negotiation team is seeking members’ input.
Please email MAGE President Harald Larsen at hlarsen@pispc.ca with the 2 most important concerns that you’d like addressed in our negotiations.
Please provide your list before the end of Friday, September 6, 2019. This should allow the negotiation team enough time to compile your thoughts and ideas into a comprehensive submission to our employer.
The negotiation team will be focusing our efforts for change on the most critical items. It may not be possible to include all your excellent ideas in this round of negotiations.
