2018 SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING, ELECTIONS AND BARGAINING UPDATE
All PIPSC AV Halifax Sub-Group members (AU, CO and PG with employment address in Halifax) are cordially invited to attend and participate in the AV Group Halifax Sub-Group Special General Meeting with complimentary lunch.

NOTE: PIPSC Membership ID required for access.
The Special General Meeting is intended to implement the Subgroup Constitution that was passed at the March 29, 2018 Halifax Subgroup AGM, in accordance with By-Law Article 4.1:
4.1 All Regular and Retired members (unless specified elsewhere in these Bylaws) shall be eligible to nominate members for positions on the Group Executive, propose amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws of the Group, and vote in Group affairs. Only Regular members shall be eligible to hold office.
- To elect the positions of the President, Vice-President, and up to 5 Members-at-Large. Nominations will be made from the floor of the AGM on October 17, 2018.
- To meet your stewards and other PIPSC Executives and to have a dialogue with your Sub-Group executive members
- To better understand what your Sub-Group and the PIPSC National Office do for you;
- To get an update on current AV Group and PIPSC activities, and
- To ask questions and make suggestions
