2017 Activities
September 21st - Tiger Baseball game
November 8th - Windsor Regional Hospital AGM
November 9th - Windsor CRA AGM

Issues and Concerns:
- Chatham nurses are being discriminated against in the workplace by management for Union activities and refusing PIPSC Stewards the opportunity to represent members. Multiple grievances have been filed and pursuing a PSLRB complaint. Members are being denied leave for Union activities and medical appointments.
- 2017 ORC brought engagement from local Unions to offer a funding program to our Research Scientists in Harrow who have pioneered research in the area of vertical farming.
- Windsor Regional Hospital Radiation Therapists are facing forced work days on statutory Holidays in the face of contract negotiations.
Issues and Concerns (cont’d):
- Windsor CRA auditors battling management over meaning consultation on relocation plan. Stress related injuries in the work place are climbing and management is concerned with optics more them preventive measures or remedies.
