Election will be held for the following positions for the Toronto Centre CRA Branch and AFS Sub-Group:
President (one- year term) – One position
Vice-President (two-year term) – One position
Treasurer (one-year term) – One position
Secretary (two-year term) – One position
Member –at –large (3 - two- year term positions and 4- one-year term positions) – Seven positions
All PIPSC members in the Toronto Centre Tax Service office (25 St. Clair Ave) home location are eligible candidates in the AFS Sub-Group and Branch Elections. To be a candidate in these elections, the nomination form must be completed and returned to the Elections Committee at the AGM on November 19, 2024.
Members interested in actively participating in union activity are encouraged to contact the election chair Joe Saldanha at joesaldanha01@yahoo.ca and submit their nominations. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor at the AGM. Both the candidate and the nominator must be PIPSC members who are in good standing.
Once the Elections Committee has reviewed the nominations, if an election is needed, it will take place at our local AGM.
