PIPSC Hamilton CRA Branch Elections Call for Nominations

The current mandate for your Hamilton Branch Executive positions will end at our April 2, 2019 Annual General Meeting. Therefore, our By-Laws require us to call for nominations. The successful candidates will be elected or acclaimed for two-year terms commencing at the end of our Annual General Meeting.

Nominations are now invited for the following positions:

  • President (one position)
  • Vice-President (one position)
  • Treasurer (one position)
  • Secretary (one position)
  • Member-at-large (seven positions)

To be a candidate a person must be a Regular Member in good standing of the PIPSC Hamilton Branch.  Voting, if necessary, will take place at our Annual General Meeting on April 2, 2019. You must be in attendance to cast a vote.

The “Nomination Form” is attached (PDF). Nominations must be submitted in writing to the Elections Committee comprised of Rehan Shahid or Roxane McMillan by the end of business Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Candidates should contact either Rehan or Roxane to confirm receipt of their nomination form prior to the deadline.

If no nominations are received for an elected position by the deadline of March 27, 2019, then nominations for that position only will be extended to the floor of the AGM on April 2, 2019.
