You’re Invited to a Family Event! NCR - Teddy Bears’ Picnic
Who: PIPSC - NCR members and up to three guests (4 tickets per member)
Date: Saturday, July 6, 2024 Time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time Where: Calabogie, Ontario (Full address will be provided to confirmed participants)
Join us for a whimsical day at the Teddy Bears’ Picnic! The goal of Teddy Bears’ Picnic, a Canadian tradition that started some 35 years ago, is to deliver a fun day for families, while also providing kids with a developmentally appropriate understanding of health care.
Bring your favourite stuffed bear, pack a picnic basket, plenty of liquids to stay hydrated, and let’s celebrate the joy of camaraderie and sunshine. Whether you are young or young at heart, this event promises fun, laughter, and memories to cherish.
Activities will include:
• Teddy Bear Parade - Dress up your cuddly companions and join the procession
• Teddy Bear Hospital - When your bear needs a bit of care
• Picnic Blanket Bingo - Win prizes while enjoying your snacks
• Bear Hugs and High-Fives - Share the love with fellow bear enthusiasts
• Storytime under the Trees - Gather around for tales of adventure and friendship
NOTE - All other expenses will be at the member’s own expense.
Don’t forget to bring your own picnic goodies, a cozy blanket and/or chairs, and a sense of wonder. Your NCR Executive will provide the enchanting setting and a sprinkle of magic. Please note: there are no eligible member claims that can be made for this event.
Registration close on June 14, 2024. Confirmation emails will be sent to selected attendees on June 17, 2024, with full details. Space is limited for the event and will be selected randomly from members who have registered. An additional e-mail will follow to those that have been selected.
