REGULATIONS
PREAMBLE
These regulations are intended to amplify procedures necessary to meet the requirements of the PIPSC Statistics Canada Branch By-Laws and may be revised as considered necessary from time to time by the PIPSC Statistics Canada Branch Executive. All changes to these Regulations shall be published.
REGULATION R7 - ELECTIONS
R7.1 Positions for Elections
There will be named positions for which the candidates will be voted on by the membership, the rest of the positions will be known as member at large.
R7.1.1 The positions of President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary will be named positions.
R7.2 Schedule for Elections
The positions will be up for re-election according to the following schedule:
R7.2.1 On odd years, the President, the Treasurer and half of the members-at-large.
R7.2.2 On even years, the Vice-President, the Secretary and the other half of the members-at-large.
R7.2.3 If there is an odd number of members-at-large, half plus one will be elected on odd years.
R7.3 Procedure for Nominations
R7.3.1 All nominations shall be seconded.
