Notice of OSB Annual General Hybrid Meeting and Elections – Wednesday October 18, 2023

LOCATION: PIPSC HQ 250 Tremblay Rd, Boardroom A/B, Ottawa . Free parking available after 5:00. and Virtually via Zoom
In accordance with By-Law 7 of our Constitution and By-Laws, we are requesting nominations from all OSB members for the OSB Executive positions hereunder. The candidates will be elected for a term of two years to commence January 1, 2024. Nominations may be submitted to ottawasb@pipsc.ca or may be made from the floor of the Branch Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Nomination Form is attached to the email invitation.
Vice-President – 2 year term
NAVCAN Representative – 2 year term
Member at Large – 2 year term (2 positions)
Members of the Ottawa South Branch are cordially invited to participate in a Hybrid Annual General Meeting which is defined as an In-Person and Virtual AGM. Members will be able to voice their input towards determining how our Branch activities could be directed to proceed in the following year. A light supper will be provided for those attending in person. There will be a limited number of members attending in-person and a link will be provided to those attending virtually. Voting keys will be sent to those attending virtually and in-person.
You belong to the Ottawa South Branch - if your assigned place of work location is in the NCR bounded East of the Rideau River, South of Highway 417 and extending to Eastern Boundary of NCR and you do not work for DND, HC.
RSVP: You must pre-register to guarantee a seat and buffet dinner and please provide the following information by Friday Oct 6, 2023. Please email ottawasb@pipsc.ca with subject line “OSB AGM Oct 18 2023.
