We are deeply saddened to report that our fellow PIPSC NCR AAFC Branch member Lesleigh Smith passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2021. Lesleigh served as a volunteer on the Branch Executive Committee and had been Secretary since 2016. She was deeply involved in organizing Lunch and Learns, AGMs, and Better Together events. She always served with kindness, passion, and diligence. She will be missed by all of us for her smiles and for her willingness to welcome others.
On behalf of all PIPSC NCR AAFC Branch members, we send our deepest condolences to Lesleigh’s family and all who loved her.
The PIPSC NCR AAFC Branch has made a donation in Lesleigh’s memory to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation, a charitable organization recommended by Lesleigh’s family.
