Due to the increases in Covid-19 cases due to the Delta variant and re-imposition of Covid regulations in the Central Okanagan, the Okanagan Branch Executive regretfully announces that the 2021 Okanagan Branch AGM will be held virtually instead of in-person. While not ideal, holding the AGM virtually will allow members who live in all areas of the Branch’s geographic area to participate. The Branch Executive looks forward to having as many members as possible participate in this important Okanagan Branch event.

  1. Welcome & Introduction of Branch Executive
  2. Acceptance of the Agenda
  3. Adoption of the minutes 2019 AGM
  4. Financial Review of the Years 2019 and 2020
  5. Adoption of 2021 budget
  6. Nominations and Elections:
    1. Call for nominations for the positions of:
      1. President (1 year)
      2. Vice-President (2 year)
      3. Secretary (2 year)
      4. Treasurer (1 year)
      5. 2 Members-at-large (2 year), 2 Members-at-large (1 year)
    2. Election
    3. Motion to destroy the ballots
  7. Guest Speakers:
    1. Robert MacDonald, Regional Director, BC/Yukon Region, PIPSC
  8. Question and Answer session
  9. Adjournment

The draft minutes from the 2019 AGM will be circulated and posted on PIPSC website prior to the meeting date, please review them prior to the meeting.

Reasons to attend:

Meet other professionals working in the Okanagan Region. Participate in the business of the Okanagan Branch. Get an update from PIPSC Regional Director Robert MacDonald as to upcoming issues affecting PIPSC members.

As there will be elections for all executive positions, please submit all nominations to Philip Mantler, Branch President at pmantler@pipsc.ca by Friday, October 1, 2021.
