You and your family are invited to a special tree planting ceremony. As part of PIPSC's 100th anniversary and to commemorate our progress, we are partnering with Tree Canada to plant 100 native hardwood trees in Beaverbank, NS. Tree Canada, a not-for-profit organization, is dedicated to planting and nurturing trees. For 25 years, they’ve engaged communities, governments, corporations and individuals in the pursuit of a greener and healthier living environment for Canadians.
At the Halifax Branch, we are proud that for our 100th anniversary, we can give back to promote environmental stewardship, which is more important than ever as we attempt to address the climate crisis by reducing our carbon footprint. If you are interested in planting a few trees, please contact Hashem Abou-Shahla and indicate the number of adults and children.
