INTRODUCTORY REMARKS:

1. Chad called the meeting to order at 1633hrs.

a. Treasurer’s Report: A quick update was given. Erika motioned to accept. Seconded by Chad. NIL opposed

4. OLD BUSINESS/ONGOING

a. Retirements – One member retiring from DND, would like his retirement gift to be a gift card from the NSLC.

b. Upcoming events – deferred to a meeting in January where we will plan two events.

5. NEW BUSINESS

a. Discussion about the Atl Region resolution to change the basic funding for branches and Sub-groups to double the base amount plus give extra based on # of members.

b. Holiday Party: Dooley’s is booked for Dec 16^thfrom 12:30pm-4:30pm. IT sub group will buy 8 gift certificates, SH sub-group will buy 8 gift certificates, Branch will purchase 10 gift certificates. Branch will purchase food from Mary Brown’s and Pita Pit, as well as cookies/fruit trays etc. Branch will provide funding for two gifts for the winners of the pool tournament, up to $XXX each gift plus tax.

c. Discussion about purchasing merch for giveaways at our various events. Chad brought examples of merch available through Fundy Textiles. Erika moved to have the president purchase merch with branch funds for this purpose, Marcel seconded, passed.

d. Discussed having a branch logo made, may look into this in the future.
