Gander Branch AGM - September 25, 2024
The PIPSC Gander Branch will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 25 September starting at 6:00 in the International Lounge Community Boardroom at the Gander International Airport. Buffett-style Chinese food will be served.
Elections will be a little different this year as Juliana and Wanda are stepping down from their positions. Thank you both for your many years of service to the branch executive.
The following positions will be up for election for various term lengths:
- President – two years
- Secretary – two years
- Treasurer – one year
If you wish to nominate someone for either of these positions, please send your nominations by email to Michael VandenBerg at Michael.VandenBerg@ec.gc.ca. Nominations will also be accepted during the AGM.
If you wish to attend in person, please RSVP before the end of the day on Monday, 23 September by email to Wanda Batten.
For members outside the Gander area who wish to attend remotely we will set up a zoom call or teleconference line. If you are interested in attending remotely, please indicate this in your RSVP and please RSVP by Wednesday, 18 September. We will provide the call-in info a few days before the meeting.
