Lunch and Learns

  • Nil, but we are on track to do better in 2018!

Areas of Concern for Branch Members

  • Staffing remains a primary concern as positions are remaining vacant after retirement and the funds “harvested”. This seems to be more prevalent with senior positions which are resulting in a lack of promotional opportunities in this area of NS.
  • Contracting out is also a concern as civilian public service jobs remain unstaffed as work if farmed out to contractors.
