AV Group Sub Group Report

It’s been an interesting year. We have seen growth and some loss.

The west coast has seen the creation of the South Victoria Island sub group.

There is further interest in sub groups in Alberta and also Saskatchewan. These will be areas to help grow this coming year.

In Ontario we have sadly lost the Southern Ontario sub group. We also had to disband the Halifax sub group also.

The good news is that Quebec has a lot of interest and Yanick and I will be working hard in the fall to help meet members in Quebec and hopefully get some more sub groups in the province.

Lastly, sub groups need to ensure that their information on the PIPSC web site is up to date. There are a few instances where the listed incumbent or contact info is incorrect. I will be working with sub group presidents to ensure this info is kept up to date and accurate.
