CS 2019 AGM - RESOLUTION No.2

Whereas the Contracting out of CS positions by the government is rampant in the public sector and

Whereas the CS Group has initiated an action plan for combatting contracting out.

Be it resolved that BY-LAW 2 – AIMS of the CS Constitution be amended as follows:

BY-LAW 2 - AIMS

The aims of the Group are:

1. To further the interests of its members and the status of their profession;
2. To define standards and ethics for their profession when necessary;
3. To protect the status, ethics and standards of their profession, and
4. NEW – to protect the work of CS group as described by the Group definition by fighting the abuse of contracting out and,
5. Renumber to e) to maintain and to formulate and to express the views of the members on matters affecting them.
