NOTICE TO MEMBERS
TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE SHERBROOKE BRANCH
OF THE PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTE OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE OF CANADA
In 2018, one Executive member decided to resign from her position. All the remaining members’ terms of office will end in 2019
According to Article 6.7 of the Branch By-Laws, in this situation the new President, Vice-President and Secretary-Treasurer must be elected at the Annual General Meeting. Their term of office is to be a maximum of three years.
Therefore, an election must be held at the AGM on May 30, 2019 to fill the positions of President, Vice-President and Secretary-Treasurer for the Sherbrooke Branch.
Article 4.1 of the By-Laws provides that all members are eligible to run for office and to vote in election for the Executive.
If you are interested in this challenge, please apply by sending an email to chap.sher@outlook.com no later than 5 p.m. on May 29, 2019 OR by offering your candidacy in person at the AGM on May 30, 2019.
Kindly provide the following information:
- your name
- the position for which you are applying: President, Vice President or Secretary-Treasurer
The election will take place at the May 30 AGM at the time set aside on the agenda.
