For years, I have directed my efforts at local and department levels such that PIPSC gained a stronger voice and presence in the workplace. We are Better Together!

Improved Collective Agreement

Our collective agreement expired 30 September 2018. I am leading the next round of bargaining. Much remains to improve our working conditions and the employers’ ability to hire experienced and competent professionals.

Your union needs to be strong and united.

Recognition of Professionals

I will continue to champion this cause. The scope of our work often lies or moves beyond provincial boundaries. We often represent Canada internationally as professionals. Based on facts, evidences, regulations and sound judgement we ensure safety, security and economic prosperity of Canadians. There are political pressures to outsource our professional contributions and some even try to diminish the value of the professional advices we provide. We deserve recognition by our own employer of the benefits that professional integrity and status brings.
