There are thirteen (13) vacancies for Officers on the AV Group Executive. Successful candidates will take Office on June 1, 2018, all for three (3) year terms.

Elections will be held for the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, BC/Yukon Regional Representative and Ontario Regional Representative. Voting is by electronic means only. A ballot key for electronic voting will be sent out to members eligible to vote. Voter’s Kits (as required) will be distributed by
27-Apr-2018 with a deadline for return of ballots as 25-May-2018 at 5:00 PM EDT.

* We did not receive a nomination for the position of National Capital Regional Representative nor did we receive three (3) nominations for Member-at-Large. In accordance with AV Group By-Law 7.2.2, the new AV Group Executive may appoint qualified members after they take office on 01-Jun-2018.
By-Law 7.2.2: “In the event that insufficient nominations are received to fill the vacancies, the Elections Committee shall attempt to obtain the names of additional persons willing and able to serve sufficient to fill the remaining vacancies. If none are forthcoming, the Executive may appoint an eligible member to that position”.

Voter Eligibility:
All AV Group Regular and Retired members in good standing are eligible to vote for President, Vice-President and Treasurer, and:
- for the BC/Yukon Regional Representative, eligible voters include Regular members working in the BC/Yukon Region and Retired members living in the BC/Yukon Region.
- for the Ontario Regional Representative, eligible voters include Regular members working in the Ontario Region and Retired members living in the Ontario Region.
