Members of the Bargaining Team for the SH Group met in Ottawa March 12-15, 2018 for preparatory meetings for the upcoming round of bargaining. The Bargaining Team formulated a bargaining survey that will be distributed to the SH members in mid-April to help to identify the issues and priorities of the membership for the upcoming round of bargaining. In addition members of the Bargaining Team will be meeting with groups of members in focus group settings across the country to identify any additional concerns and determine areas requiring further consideration. Pay analysis will be conducted over the coming months for each individual profession and PIPSC research personnel will be working with identified contacts from each profession to create profession-specific pay proposals. The Bargaining Team is planning to meet again April 11-13, 2018 for further progress on proposal development. For any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the SH Group Negotiator or a member of the SH Bargaining Team - contact information can be found on the PIPSC SH Group Website.
In Solidarity,
