2017-18 Activities:

Canada 150 BBQ, June 29th, 2017

To celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary, PIPSC Hamilton-NRCan Branch held a joint BBQ in the workplace with the local Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) on Thursday, June 29, 2017, 12:00 – 13:00. All students, visitors and employees were invited to enjoy the BBQ to celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday. About 80 people attended the BBQ, which included about 36 PIPSC members. PIPSC – Labour Day March, September 4th, 2017

PIPSC Hamilton-NRCan Branch organized a group of 22 people including PIPSC members and their families to participate in the Labour Day March in Toronto on September 4, 2017.  Attached is a picture taken during the event.

CanmetMATERIALS 75 BBQ, September 22th, 2017

To celebrate CanmetMATERIALS’ 75th Anniversary, PIPSC Hamilton-NRCan Branch held a BBQ in the workplace with the CanmetMATERIALS management on Friday, September 22, 2017, 12:00 – 13:00. All students, staff and former employees were invited to enjoy the BBQ to celebrate CanmetMATERIALS’ 75th Birthday. About 120 people attended the BBQ, which included about 30 PIPSC members. Joint Social Event, March 06, 2018

Hamilton-NRCan Branch and CFIA-S&A Hamilton Sub-Group held a joint social event on March 06, 2018. The purpose of this event is to bring PIPSC’s members together and talk about matters we concern. About 20 members attended the event. We plan to hold more joint activities like this. Below is a photo taken during the event.
