RE: PIPSC Youth Symposium and Annual General Meeting - November 2017

The BC/Yukon Region is looking to increase youth involvement in our Region.
All BC/Yukon Region members are welcome to put their names forward to participate in the upcoming Youth Symposium and PIPSC Annual General Meeting being held at the Hilton Lac Lemay this coming November 16 to 18, 2017. Our regional delegation of eight members will become the nucleus of a new BC/Yukon Region Youth Advisory Team that is committed to finding ways to increase your involvement / engagement in the Institute and the Region.
We are looking for young PIPSC members who are:
- Under 40 years of age in 2017 and in good standing with the Institute;
- Able to attend the entire Youth Symposium (delegate) and the Annual General Meeting (observer) this November in Ottawa / Hull (sorry, no partial attendance - you must be 100% all in...);
- Interested in advocating on behalf of young professionals; raising issues specific to young professionals and fostering relationships with like minded community groups; and,
- Interested in making our workplaces a better place to work!
