Notice of 81st Annual Prairie/NWT Regional Council (PRC) 2025
Date: May 30, 2025 – May 31, 2025 Location: Delta Hotels Saskatoon Downtown, Saskatoon, SK The 81st Prairie/NWT Regional Council (PRC) will be 1.5 days starting on Friday, May 30, 2025, and continuing all day Saturday, May 31, 2025.
Delegate SelectionDelegates are decided by local branch executives, if you are interested in attending the PRC, please contact your respective Branch President no later than March 24, 2025. By-Law AmendmentsBy-law 11.2 “All proposals for amendments to these By-laws shall be submitted, in writing, to the Executive. Proposed amendments may be submitted by any member of the Region. Please forward any proposed by-law amendments to Office Administrator no later than Monday, April 28th, 2025. Regional ElectionsSecretaryIn accordance with by-law 6.3.1, a Secretary shall be elected by the PRC. The Secretary is for a two (2) year term. In accordance with by-law 6.8.3 Secretary: The Secretary shall be responsible for sending notices of all meetings of the Regional Executive. The Secretary shall record minutes of meetings, including attendance, maintain records and correspondence of the Region and of the Regional Executive, and shall ensure that a copy of minutes are filed with the Institute. Small Branch Representatives6.3.3 Two (2) additional Executive members shall be elected from the remaining Branches by the delegates in attendance at the Regional Council, that are members of the remaining Branches. A Call Letter shall be sent to all remaining branches at the time of the notice of the Regional Council. The term of office shall be two (2) years and elections will be in odd numbered years. All nominations shall be submitted to this year’s Regional Election Chair Ryan Thiemann. Nominations will also be taken from the floor of the PRC in accordance with by-law 8.2.1.
