Elections for the Vancouver SP Sub-Group Executive will be held at the AGM. Up to four (4) positions are available and the term of office is for 2 years. Being on the Executive is a great way to contribute to professional science in Canada and also a personal development opportunity. Nominations close at the meeting. If you expect to be absent, please e-mail your nomination form (attached) to Denis Semail, Chair, Elections Committee at spvansubgroup@gmail.com by Friday, October 11, 2024.
Anyone wishing to propose changes to the Vancouver SP Sub-Group’s Constitution and By-Laws (e.g., the election procedures) are welcome to do so. The Constitution and By-Laws outline the requirements that need to be met with respect to any proposed changes to the same. Any proposed changes to Constitution and By-Laws need to meet with the approval of the PIPSC By-Laws Committee and approval of the PIPSC Board of Directors.

The SP Group includes members with the following classification: Actuary (AC), Agriculture (AG), Biologist (BI), Chemist (CH), Forester (FO), Meteorologist (MT), Physical Scientist (PC), Scientific Regulation (SG) and Patent Examination (PAT).
For this AGM there are 4 positions available on the Vancouver SP Sub-Group Executive. The term of office is for two (2) years.
