We will have representation from PIPSC to speak to the issues that concern you, such as transition back to the workplace, Phoenix, ESWP (sick leave), GC WorkPlace (WorkPlace 2.0 and ABW). 

Registration of your attendance with your membership number is required by Monday, September 20th, 2021 at spvansubgroup@gmail.com.  Confirmation of your registration will be sent to you and registrants will be sent a zoom link to join the meeting. Elections for the Vancouver SP Sub-Group Executive will be held at the AGM. Up to seven (7) positions are available and the term of office is for 2 years. Being on the Executive is a great way to contribute to professional science in Canada and also a personal development opportunity. Nominations close at the meeting.  If you expect to be absent, please e-mail your nomination form (attached) to Denis Semail, Chair, Elections Committee at spvansubgroup@gmail.com or send to the PIPSC Regional Office by Monday, September 20th, 2021.

Anyone wishing to propose changes to the Vancouver SP Sub-Group’s Constitution and By-Laws (e.g., the election procedures) are welcome to do so. The Constitution and By-Laws outline the requirements that need to be met with respect to any proposed changes to the same. Any proposed changes to Constitution and By-Laws need to meet with the approval of the PIPSC By-Laws Committee and approval of the PIPSC Board of Directors.
