Dear Applied Science and Patent Examination (SP) Group Members at 401 Burrard Street, Vancouver, BC,
We are pleased to invite you to the 2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of our subgroup – SP 401 Burrard Street! The AGM is an event for members to get together and recap the subgroup’s past year, an outlook into the next year, and enjoy good food, drinks, and company. This year we will be having it at Prestons Restaurant just down the street from the office. There will be prizes!
There will also be an election for Member at Large positions on the subgroup executive – no prior experience is needed! We are looking for 7 Members at Large (incumbents can be nominated too). As a Member at Large you can become a part of the subgroup executive, help share union information with members, and help plan fun events! It is a great way to be more involved, and better informed. So feel free to send us nominations!
