Senate Legislative Clerks’ Group PIPSC – AGM

Agenda item 4: Adoption of the Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting
The minutes were approved unanimously.

Céline nominated Emily. There were no other nominations. Emily accepted the position.
Agenda item 8: Financial Report
No Financial Report was tabled since there were no expenses.
Agenda item 9: New Business
Pierre discussed the possibility of organizing another training for new and existing executive members
Pierre explained that the classification review was completed by PIPSC and explained the outcome
Pierre provided an update on the status of the approval of the Senate’s new proposed by-laws. The PIPSC by-law committee is meeting next week to review the by-laws, and the by-laws will then need to be approved by the Board of Directors of PIPSC, after which they will be posted online. Pierre will follow up with the group if there are any changes that arise from this process.
Pierre explained that the next round of bargaining can’t beginning until the bridge agreement has been finalized and signed. The notice to bargain will be filed as soon as the bridge agreement is finalized.
Pierre reported on recent union activities.
