The Executive of the Vancouver Chapter of the Retired Members Guild of PIPSC invites you to our AGM for 2019. This forum is an opportunity to discuss common concerns and share ideas related to retired PIPSC members. Guest speakers will be present and a light lunch will be served. An agenda will follow. Please register by return email as soon as possible.
At the meeting, there will be two guest speakers:
- Don Burns - BC/Yukon Regional Representative on the national RMG Executive
- Rob MacDonald - PIPSC BC/Yukon Regional Director.
Don will apprise us as to what is happening across Canada with respect to other Guild Chapters and issues they are dealing with. Rob will discuss current PIPSC‘s issues especially upcoming General National election and the status of our benefit programs.
This forum is an excellent opportunity for you to exchange ideas on issues that affect retirees, and that Don and Rob can take back to PIPSC Ottawa.
During this AGM, following the Guild's constitution, an election will be held. There are two (2) Executives positions on the Guild's Executive up for election - both for a 2-year term. The Officers' portfolios are either decided at the close of the AGM or at the next meeting of the local Guild Executive.
