RE Group -Mehran Alaee

I have had the pleasure of serving you as a member of RE executive or the past 4 years; first as a member at large and as your vice president since May 2017 and recently as your acting president. Currently I am a member of the central bargaining team, and the strategic bargaining committee. I have been involved with the Hamilton/Burlington RE subgroup over the past decade, as member at large, vice president and president for the past six years. I have been a steward for the past five years.

I am a research scientist at the Water Science and Technology Directorate of Environment and Climate Change Canada in Burlington Ontario. My research interest focusses on the determination of the sources and fate of pollutants in the environment.

As your member of the RE executive I will continue to represent your interests at various bargaining levels and ensure better working conditions for all RE members.
