The VANCOUVER ISLAND NR Sub-Group will hold its 2022 Annual General Meeting on Thursday, Nov 3, 2022, at the Gorge Valley Golf Club, 1005 Craigflower Road, Victoria from 5-7 PM (https://gorgevalegolf.com/dining)
Dinner will be provided. This is a great opportunity to meet your fellow professionals from other federal departments in a relaxed social setting and to discuss issues and exchange ideas in areas of common concern. This year we will have presentation from EGBC regarding Professional Governance Act and working as a Professional Engineer in the Federal Government and there will be some update on collective bargaining.
We will also be electing our new Sub-Group Executive to a new term. All positions are open for election and would invite you all to consider getting involved and serving as part of the Sub-Group. You can nominate yourself, a friend or forward your name to myself and I’ll be more than happy to put your name forward. The following positions are up for election:
- President (2 Year Term)
- Vice-President and Secretary (2 Year Term)
- Treasurer (2 Year Term)
- (3) Member At Large (1 Year Term)
