CER-PIPSC virtual AGM is on June 16. It will include an update from the executive, and a digital election for the Vice President and two Members-At-Large.
In order to participate, including voting in the election, you must be a registered member of the union. If you have never received an email from PIPSC, you may not have proactively applied, simply complete the membership application.
If you wish to check if you are a member already, you can consult the PIPSC tool to find your membership number.
Nominations for one of the three eligible executive positions will be accepted at the AGM, when a call for nominations from the floor is announced. Should voting be required, the NEB Group Executive will use a central digital elections process from PIPSC head office, and results will be announced at a later date. If possible, the PIPSC NEB Group Executive Election results may be announced at the AGM. If you have any questions, please contact Chantal Fremit.
Eligible executive position descriptions:
Vice President – The Vice-President shall assist the President in the performance of his duties and, in case of absence, perform the duties of that position.
Members-At-Large - Members-at-Large shall perform such duties as may be assigned by the Executive.
