Your CS bargaining team has been actively engaged in the current round of bargaining for 15 months. While they have made some progress on non-salary central table issues, the employer did not meet the CS Group-specific demands with a satisfactory offer.

We are currently scheduled for a Public Interest Commission hearing on June 22-23, a step that may open opportunities for a negotiated settlement at the time or shortly after, or may lead to job actions up to and including a strike. We have a strong case and believe that you deserve a good deal.

Given the current situation, PIPSC is conducting this important survey to touch base with our CS members and seek your feedback on the next steps. It is important for PIPSC to ensure that we have a good understanding of what our members want. This survey will assist us in paving the way to deliver the best possible deal for our members.

We are conducting this survey with the help of Abacus Data, one of the most credible polling firms in Canada. Your answers will remain confidential.

The survey is open until June 17, 2020 at 12:00 PM ET.

As a CS member, you have received the link to participate in the survey via email. If you did not receive this email, please email dobetter@pipsc.ca.

Your participation in this survey will guide our decisions and priorities as we fight on your behalf. We thank you in advance for participating in this survey and for your continued support and advice during this round of bargaining.

If you have any question or concern about the survey, please contact Ihor Korbabicz at ihor@abacusdata.ca. If you have any questions for the bargaining team, please email questions_cs@pipsc.ca.
