Your union negotiations team and the company representatives met Tuesday November 26 through Thursday November 28. The union and the company agreed to modify two minor provisions in the contract.
We have responded to the company’s monetary proposal with what we believe you would consider a fair scale increase. We remain very far apart on monetary issues. The negotiations team has not been able to reach common ground with the company on key details of the contract including office space and remote working conditions.
The next session is scheduled to be 2025 February 4–6. If the company does not present a considerable improvement to their current monetary offer, the negotiations team anticipates that we will request the government to appoint a conciliator.
We are preparing for the final phase of negotiations. The negotiations team and CRPEG volunteers will be holding strike leader training on December 11 and 12.
