  • PIPSC Financial research on bargaining survey results. (30 mins) Ryan Campbell, Economist, PIPSC (confirmed)

 

    • The PIPSC 2021 Common Issue Survey was sent to all PIPSC member classifications in Fall 2021. The survey highlights include:
       
      • Good response rate, with representation of CO and PGs, especially in Ontario and NCR.
      • General issues included salary perceptions (prior to hyperinflation in late 2021), and remote working options/issues/considerations.

Executive Members will submit their nominations by on the online nomination document regarding the 3 CO positions and 3 PG positions slotted to executive members.


The Executive will provide voting preference to Denise Doherty Delorme, Negotiator, PIPSC on Tues. February 8, 2022.

Nomination Process.

An open nomination process will proceed for the remainder 1 CO position and 1 PG position open for nomination from all CO and PG members, respectively. The call for nominations will be sent by PIPSC to PG and CO members.

Dispute Resolution
The CP group will include dispute resolution options on the 2022 CP Bargaining Survey to seek members’ preference to the dispute resolution method.

Survey Finalized

Executive members will review the previous CP Bargaining Survey, as provided by Denise Doherty Delorme, Negotiator, PIPSC .

 

The 2022-23 CP Bargaining Survey will be reviewed and finalized by February 09, 2022.

Feb. 23, 2022. - March 4, 2022.

Survey Completion

The survey will be launched on February 23, 2022. Members will have 2 weeks to complete the survey by March 4, 2022.  The CP Group may provide prize draw incentives to complete the survey.

Bargaining Advisory Committee

Jan 28 - March 11, 2022

Nomination Process.

 Advisory Committee will be struck to help identify negotiation policy priorities of Members.  The Executive may consider a non-executive Chair of the Committee.

A one day workshop will be created to help provide policy priorities for the collective agreement bargaining.
