We met with the employer during the week of April 15 for our third bargaining session at our table (with additional meetings in 2023 at the central table). Unfortunately, the employer canceled our March session.
We made some progress on some non-monetary issues, and we remain hopeful of progressing on pay at our next bargaining session in June.
We know that pay is the most important issue for our members. CFIA-VM members deserve fair pay increases, given skyrocketing inflation and our group’s recruitment and retention issues.
