A group of AV members from the Fredericton region recently met at the Brewbakers Restaurant to host the AGM for our Sub-Group. Laurie Murphy (interim President) provided an update on recent PIPSC bargaining activities and chaired the elections for new executive.
The Fredericton AV Sub-Group elected President Josée Green, with Laurie Murphy serving as Vice-President and Katie Baird as Treasurer (all of ACOA). Also joining these AV members on the newly elected Board are Darren Graham of ACOA in the Secretary role, and Nicole Shannon (DND) and Barb Kalinowski (ACOA) in Member-at-Large positions. A third Member-at-Large position remains vacant at present in hopes of recruiting a suitable candidate from another department in the near future.
