PIPSC London AFS Sub-Group Elections 2024 Call for Nominations

The current mandate for your PIPSC London AFS Sub-Group Executive members will end at our Thursday, May 16, 2024, London AFS Sub-Group Annual General Meeting.  Therefore, our By-Laws require us to call for nominations.  The successful candidates will be elected for three-year terms commencing at the end of our Thursday, May 16, 2024, Annual General Meeting.  Nominations are now invited for the following positions:

  • President (one to be elected)
  • Secretary (one to be elected)
  • Member-at-Large (two to be elected)

To be a candidate a person must be a Member in good standing of the PIPSC London AFS Sub-Group. Voting will take place at our Annual General Meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2024.

The “Nomination Form” is attached.  Nominations must be submitted by e-mail to: Mike Wojtak (mwojtak@pipsc.ca)  by 4 pm, Friday, May 10, 2024.  Candidates will receive confirmation of receipt of nomination by email.

For the nomination form, candidates can either obtain the signature and contact information directly from the nominator or obtain an e-mail from the nominator with the nominator’s contact information. A copy of the e-mail from the nominator must be attached to the candidate’s nomination form upon submission.

If no nominations are received for an elected position by this deadline, then the deadline for nominations, for that position only, will be extended to the floor of our PIPSC Annual General Meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2024.

Small fliers with biographies and/or candidate comments for election purposes will be allowed on PIPSC bulletin boards until the day after our PIPSC Annual General Meeting. All election posters must be approved by the Election Committee.
