London AFS Sub-Group Elections 2023 Call for Nominations
The current mandate for your PIPSC London AFS Sub-Group Executive members will end at our Thursday, November 16, 2023, PIPSC Annual General Meeting. Therefore, our By-Laws require us to call for nominations. The successful candidates will be elected for three-year terms commencing at the end of our Thursday, November 16, 2023, PIPSC Annual General Meeting.
Nominations are now invited for the following position:
- Member-at-large (two to be elected)
To be a candidate a person must be a Regular Member in good standing of the PIPSC London AFS Sub-Group and must be, or become, a steward. Voting will take place at our PIPSC Annual General Meeting on Thursday, November 16, 2023.
The “Nomination Form” is attached. Nominations must be submitted by e-mail to any one of the following: Mike Wojtak (mwojtak@pipsc.ca) or Paul Andres (p_andres@pipsc.ca) by 4 pm, Friday, November 10, 2023. Candidates should contact any of one of the aforementioned persons to confirm receipt of their nomination form prior to the deadline.
For the nomination form, candidates can either obtain the signature and contact information directly from the nominator or obtain an e-mail from the nominator with the nominator’s contact information. A copy of the e-mail from the nominator must be attached to the candidate’s nomination form upon submission.
If no nominations are received for an elected position by this deadline, then the deadline for nominations, for that position only, will be extended to the floor of our PIPSC Annual General Meeting on Thursday, November 16, 2023.
Small fliers with biographies and/or candidate comments for election purposes will be allowed on PIPSC bulletin boards until the day after our PIPSC Annual General Meeting. All election posters must be approved by the Election Committee.
