Work to develop and implement a pay equity plan at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) continues with representatives of other unions and non-unionized employees. The working spirit is collaborative and proactive. The committee is meeting several times a week to carry out the crucial job evaluation stage. Job evaluation will then enable us to compare female-dominated jobs with male-dominated jobs, to determine whether there are wage gaps that need to be corrected. At the same time, the committee is working on improving the job evaluation tool proposed by the consultant, KPMG. This rigorous work is bound to take a long time.
